Teaching children for a brighter future

Our goal at Technix Academy is to teach children and teens technical skills to support them in learning STEM fields. We want to give our students important tools and knowledge for a future in a technology fueled world. Our teachers are dedicated to passing on the knowledge and computer skills they posses, and to teach in an interactive way to ensure each student understands what they are taught. Technix Academy was started with the goal of passing on the passion for STEM knowledge to younger generations.

OUR TEAM

Each one of our staff members have had a passion for STEM activities since they were the age of our very own students. Whether they specialize in Computer Science, Robotic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or what ever it might be, they are happy to be there for you and your child.

I have been teaching people robotics, programming, math, and science for many years now. I already knew I had a passion for technology when my family got its first computer back in 1999. I followed that passion as I grew and got older. In middle school, I remember being called out of class to help the teachers throughout the entire school with their technical issues. Later in high school, I founded the robotics team, a team which is now a worldwide contender and has won a world championship tournament. In college, I taught fellow students different subjects as a tutor or TA. All the while as I grew, I helped others along the way by teaching what I know. At first, it was simply to help out those in need, but it has developed into a passion that I hope the world can benefit from with Technix Academy.

I’ve always loved using computers ever since I first got one at a very young age and I was very skilled at using one. I remember being one of the best students in the computer lab we had in my elementary school and in high school. That passion has continued to be a main driving force behind my education in animation and my desire to help my classmates with their own animation knowledge. I also joined my high school’s robotics team and I now know how robotics works and I enjoy teaching other students the knowledge that I learned from my friends and mentors in the robotics program. I would like to be able to share my own knowledge not only with my classmates and friends, but with our students so that they will have a headstart in their future careers.

From a young age, I have always had a fascination with building things and I spent a lot of my time reading books about how things work and taking apart old electronics and appliances to see what was inside. I have a passion for learning, especially about science and technology, which has inspired me to pursue a degree in engineering. Throughout my time in college, I have often found myself helping out fellow my classmates who were struggling and I have learned valuable lessons in how to handle difficult challenges from my own experiences and from the guidance of great professors who have personally inspired me to work hard to accomplish my goals. I hope that I can share what I have learned with our students to start them on the path to success and motivate them towards reaching their own goals.

HIGHEST QUALITY EDUCATION

We teach the right way. Our students learn directly from an instructor to help guide them from start to finish. We offer the lowest ratios so that our students can get the attention they need. Then to top it off we have a thoroughly developed curriculum that teaches students to college levels and beyond!

LIVE INSTRUCTORS

Our instructors are masters of their craft. Our students learn directly from instructors that give verbal instruction, visual aids, and examples. As well, our instructors are role models to our students to help them find their aspirations and how to achieve them. Whether online or in-person, our students are guided directly by the best instructors.

LOW RATIOS

We have the lowest ratios to give your child the attention they need to succeed. While learning STEM can be fun and important for their future, it can certainly be difficult at times. With low ratios, our instructors can assist students whenever they have a question, run into trouble, or need assistance. No matter the situation, our low ratios mean that instructors can be there for your child every step of the way.

COLLEGE LEVEL

We have developed our curriculum for many years to achieve a level of learning that can range from no prior experience needed, to college levels and beyond. This means that your child’s interest in STEM can go as far as they would like to take it. While there are resources out there to gain entry-level skills in STEM, it is at Technix Academy where students can gain professional STEM skills.

OUR VERSATILE TEACHING

We teach a wide variety of ages and experience levels, and have a great way of tailoring our courses to your child’s specific age and experience.

BEGINNER

Our less experienced students often look at things with wide eyes. We introduce skills and concepts that allow the student to understand the building blocks of the chosen course and continue to bigger things.

INTERMEDIATE

Students at this level have a basic grasp of their selected course. Their foundation is built, but this point is where their creativity and interests come together with what they have learned to continue their passion.

ADVANCED

The students passion is unquestionable, now comes the time to learn what few have gained. This is where their skills get honed and their knowledge is tested. From here, their future is what they make it.
