Spark your child’s imagination at Technix Academy’s Digital Media & Game Design Camp! This immersive all-day 1-week camp combines two creative STEM disciplines: digital media illustration and game design coding, allowing campers to build their own interactive video games from concept to completion. Campers will explore illustration software to design vibrant assets such as characters, backgrounds, and objects, learning foundational art techniques that bring ideas to vivid life. They will then integrate those custom assets into Scratch-based game development, coding fun mechanics like movements, interactions, and levels to create engaging, playable games inspired by popular digital entertainment.

Whether your child is brand new to tech or already has some experience, this camp delivers fresh challenges and real growth with exciting discoveries that keep every single camper engaged and progressing from day one. Our professionally trained instructors guide the entire group with a 1-6 instructor-to-student ratio, ensuring a rewarding experience for all. With all materials provided and activities fully supervised using child-friendly equipment, it’s a safe, teamwork-driven week of discovery. By the end, your child will gain a comprehensive understanding of digital media and game design, including how they integrate, by going through the same workflows as professionals, and walk away with a portfolio of games and artwork they’ll be bursting to show off!

Each day includes a 15-minute snack break and a 20-minute lunch break (please pack a snack and lunch), and we offer up to 15 minutes early free drop-off for your convenience. Held indoors for summer comfort, this all-day camp fills the day with exciting creative challenges. Need a longer day? Regular classes start at 2:30 PM, so call or text us to arrange it. After summer, if your child is interested in learning more, they can join our after-school classes to continue their growth and learning all year long.
