Group Lessons take place in a shared, hands-on setting, where your child learns next to other students with an instructor guiding the group. Even together, every student works through their own curriculum, at their own pace, on the subjects they chose. Your child gets the focus of a personalized path with the energy and motivation of learning beside others who are building and creating right there with them. It is social, hands-on, and driven by what each student wants to make.
Every student learns what excites them, on their own path. STEM is vast, coding, robotics, computer hardware, and computer software, and no two students want the same route through it. Your child follows their own curriculum, built around their interests and their readiness, so they are always challenged and never lost. They move forward when they have truly understood something, not when a calendar says to.
Lessons are by appointment, and you choose the times. Any day, any duration, whatever frequency works for your family, as long as it falls within our open hours and space is available. Just call, text, or stop by, and we will get your schedule set up. If something comes up, moving a lesson is easy.
Signing up more than one child? Your hours are one shared balance for your whole account, used across every child you enroll. The hours in your plan are the total your children draw from together, split however you use them. So there is no need for separate plans, and larger plans come at a better per-hour rate.
Your time is billed by the minute, for exactly the time your child is with us. There is no rounding and no fixed session length, so there is nothing to worry about if a lesson runs a little long or short, or if a pickup is a few minutes early or late. It is all measured accurately. And any hours you do not use in a cycle simply carry over, so nothing goes to waste.
Each cycle (every 4 weeks) your account is credited with the number of hours you choose, from 4 up to 16. Use them however you like across the cycle, we recommend spreading them out so lessons stay consistent. If you run low early, you can top up anytime with By-The-Hour hours from our store.
